OUR STORY
BUILDING AN AMERICAN FACTORY

AMERICA'S PREMIUM T-SHIRT MANUFACTURER

GETTEES is a Michigan-Based Garment Manufacturer that was founded for one purpose: To prove once and for all that American Manufacturing is viable. In doing so, we cut no corners. We set out to produce the highest quality product - only using a premium 100% U.S. Supima Interlock Cotton. We built a factory in our hometown in Michigan, training and developing a 100% American Workforce. We invested in what matters, The People & The Product. Our first product - The Model Tee - is a new take on an American Classic T-shirt that emphasizes quality, detail and craftsmanship. Through this journey, we have not only proven the viability of American Manufacturing, but also the necessity in producing premium products.

NO SWEATSHOPS

WE BUILT A FACTORY

We built a factory in our hometown in Michigan to prove that the use of sweatshops is not only immoral but also unnecessary. We take the time to train and develop the people in our community, creating jobs and opportunity. We will forever fight against the idea of sweatshops by proving a separate path in the products we make.

NO MIDDLEMEN

WE DESIGN, CUT & SEW

We’ve simplified our supply chain to allow us to invest more in the products we make and the people who make them. While this may seem like a common sense approach, most clothing brands shy away from the responsibility of manufacturing. At GETTEES, we embrace this challenge of manufacturing in the United States.

NO DISTRACTIONS

WE MAKE T-SHIRTS

We make t-shirts and we make them better than anybody else. We spend all our time and energy on providing you with the best t-shirts possible, knowing it will pay off in the products we make. This dedication and focus allows us to put our products up against any brand, no matter their ridiculous price points.

IT STARTS

GETTEES was founded by then 21-year old, Mathew Hunt. Born and raised in Metro Detroit, Mathew saw first hand what the loss of manufacturing jobs could do to a city. While attending Michigan State, he was assigned a case study of the garment industry. Much of the study focused on gaining back consumer trust after tragic events such as the 2013 Savar building collapse in Bangladesh. It was then he saw just how broken the garment industry truly is. Raised by an Entrepreneur, Mathew decided to take action into his own hands and developed the concept of GETTEES.
