Our products are designed and manufactured by the people, for the people and that doesn't end with knowing where your clothes come from and the people who make them. We’re bringing luxury quality clothing to the everyday American and that means real people and real stories. To this day, all of our models have been our friends rather than professionals and we want you to get to know them.
Bekim is our next friend and model we’re introducing you to as part of our #MeetTheModel blog series!
What do you do full time?
Aside from being a student, right now, I’m in the middle of an electrical engineering internship at DTE energy.
In 10 years, where do you hope to be?
Honestly, my main goal in 10 years is just to have a stable job and a great family. I don’t need much else!
Do you spend time in Detroit? If so, what are some of your favorite things to do and places to go?
I usually only spend time in Detroit for Lions football games (I don’t want to talk about it), but recently I’ve been going out with friends downtown more often. My fraternity hosted their spring formal at one of Detroit’s historic mansions a few months ago, and we all had so much fun spending the evening in such a time-capsuled atmosphere.
How did you get involved with GETTEES and what made you want to model for GETTEES?
I’m friends with Kelsey, their PR & social manager, and she asked me if I’d want to model for the brand during a photoshoot in Detroit. I’ve never really done something like that before, but I had fun hanging out with everyone and getting to be a part of GETTEES and I’d love to do it again for another shoot!
Do you have a favorite GETTEES piece so far? If so, why is it your favorite?
Definitely the District Hoodie. I just really love hoodies.
If you could hop on a plane today, where would you go?
I’ve always wanted to see Dubai, so I’d probably go there!
What would you do with a million dollars right now?
I’d immediately pay off any loans my parents had.
What’s something people might be surprised to learn about you?
I can pick stuff up with my toes.
